Prompt Guidelines Announcement

shrinkyclinksfestHello everyone! First we would like to thank everyone who has already submitted a prompt or hyped up the fest. We have some great prompts so far and we can’t wait to see what you all do with them!
However, we have had some submissions of prompts that don’t quite meet the criteria of the spirit of this fest. This is a shrinkyclinks fest, therefore the central pairing should be Steve/Bucky. Any poly or past ships with other characters are fine, as long as Steve and Bucky are the focus of the story.
That being said, while this fest and the mods of this fest do practice Ship and Let Ship, that doesn’t mean all ships are appropriately for all spaces. This fest is for Steve/Bucky, not for promoting other characters. That is not to say that a fic can’t do that, or that a prompter can’t request that other characters be included or excluded. But it is disingenuous to this particular fest to prompt a story where a large focus is on characters or relationships other than Steve/Bucky.
In addition, we will not be accepting prompts that focus on Hydra redemption arcs or HTP. We’re working hard to make this a fun, safe, and inclusive fest for everyone, including the mods, and these themes work against that goal.
